Palisades "Co-Citizen of the Year," Jimmy Dunne drove through the Palisades at 27 on the 4th of July and saw the parade — and knew that’s where he wanted to raise his family. For many years, Jimmy has been active creating, spearheading and often MC’ing town, parish and charity activities around the Palisades — especially involving kids.
A modern-day renaissance man, Jimmy Dunne has been successful across multiple disciplines. As an award-winning multi-platinum songwriter with walls of gold and platinum records, his songs have been on 28,000,000 records worldwide; along with scores, songs, and themes in over 1,400 television episodes and dozens of feature films.
He’s also had a writer and producer roles on hit television series’ — including Paramount’s “Happy Days.”
He's also written award-winning books; his current book is "Jimmy Dunne Says," distributed by Simon & Schuster.
Jimmy is very involved in a number of community and Palisades initiatives -- and wrote "The Palisades Song!"

BILL MCGREGOR
FOUNDER
Bill is the founder of the McGregor Brown Company, and has been directly responsible for the development or planning of more than four million square feet of office, residential and specialty space.
Past projects of Mr. McGregor include: the Los Angeles World Trade Center in downtown Los Angeles; the 2525 North Main Building in Santa Ana; the Wilshire Palisades Building in Santa Monica (which received the 1988 Urban Land Institute Award of Excellence); First Federal Square in Santa Monica; and Howard Hughes Center, the 3.1 million square foot office/retail complex near the Los Angeles airport.
Notable projects of the McGregor Brown Company are the I.M. Pei Sony Building in Beverly Hills, House Year Institute, 1801 Century Park West in Los Angeles, Ice House in Beverly Hills, Bel Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades, Hall of Justice in Sacramento, 3400 Cahuenga in Los Angeles, and numerous award-winning custom homes. Mr. McGregor holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from Rice University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
BOB HARTER

Bob is a graduate of Stanford University and the U.S.C. School of Law, where he served as Lead Articles Editor of the Law Review.
His 27-year legal career began with an emphasis on corporate law at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and was followed by his service as general counsel to two New York Stock Exchange companies: Tiger International, Inc. and Rykoff-Sexton, Inc.
Following Bob’s ‘encore career’ as a charter pilot, and selling his charter operation, Bob joined the Park Board of the Palisades Recreation Center and, together with other master plan committee members, developed a plan for the Park.
Bob received a Golden Sparkplug Award from the Pacific Palisades, and "Co-Citizen of the Year" in 2019.
Bob and his wife Ann have raised two children in the Palisades and now enjoy taking their three grandchildren to play at the Park.
ROB JERNIGAN

Rob is an accomplished architect, mentor, and collaborator who inspires you to think differently. Rob is a true community leader and has taken an active role in the renaissance of downtown Los Angeles. He is deeply committed to elevating LA as a world-class city through his efforts around permanent supportive housing, Pershing Square renew, and other community projects and initiatives.
The AIA California Council awarded Rob its Presidential Citation for changing the face of architecture in Los Angeles. Coro Southern California presented Rob with the Crystal Eagle Award for civic leadership. And the Los Angeles Business Journal named him one of “The 500 Most Influential People in Los Angeles” today. In LA, his work includes the Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Residences and JW Marriott at L.A. LIVE, The Broad Museum, Metropolis, and ICON at Sunset Bronson Studios in Hollywood.
Rob is an AIA Fellow and a member of the Urban Land Institute. He serves on the boards of Gensler, the Los Angeles Business Council, Central City Association of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Town Hall Los Angeles, World Trade Center Los Angeles, and the Jonathan Club.
JAY MCCANN
FOUNDER
Jay graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, 1961, and was commissioned 2nd Lt in the US Army, Infantry — and graduated US Army Airborne and Ranger schools. Jay also served in the 82nd Airborne Division, ’62 – ’63; and was the Advisor to Vietnamese Infantry Battalion, ’63 – ’64.
After returning to the states, Jay graduated from Fordham Law School in ’67. Jay practiced law in firms and in-house counsel (Rockwell International Corporation, TRW Corporation, Musick, Peeler & Garrett).
Jay has been on various Boards of privately held and public companies for several years.
Jay is a member of Bel-Air Bay Club, where has served on its Board of Directors, and as its President. Jay also served two terms on the Bel-Air Country Club Board and was the CFO for three years. As a member of American Legion Post 283, he’s been a member of the Executive Committee and Judge Advocate.
Living in Pacific Palisades, Jay is a widower, with three children, three step-children, and 12 grandchildren.
